No-fuss smoothie meal

Know you should have dinner but don’t have the time or energy to cook something up? Ever wished there was a “liquid meal” that you could just drink? Look no further.

This smoothie was designed to replace a meal. At about 500 calories and 20 grams of protein, it resembles a typical meal. It contains calcium from milk, fibre from grains, fruits, and vegetables, and also some omega-3 fatty acids from chia seeds. Can’t get more balanced than this!

Of course, you shouldn’t be drinking this every day. Other foods offer a range of vitamins and minerals not found in this smoothie. Check out my recipes for other quick and simple meals you can make!
